Self cleaning ash vacuum cleaner

It’s the end for the drudgery of cleaning fireplaces, fireplace inserts, barbecues and wood or other stoves !

Easy to use :
Start up the ash vacuum cleaner : in moments your fireplace will be totally clean of cold ashes – and there is no dust to choke on either. Cleaning will be simply child’s play! With the large diameter of the tube and the aluminium nozzle (40 mm) you can even vacuum up charcoal.

Your ash vacuum cleaner is ready to be used again.
When the cleaner begins to vacuum less powerfully, simply flick the metal clamp (c) over to the side and take out the non-woven filter bag when you empty the container and rinse it under the tap.The metal clamp (c) is used to keep the filters in place.

You will not need to dismantle the concertina paper filter cartridge (a) located underneath the filter bag (b), simply clean it with a brush. Once the filter bag (b) is clean and dry, you can reinsert it above the filter cartridge (a). On the outside of the container we advise cleaning the filter cartridge every three times you use the cleaner, but this will depend on the quantity of ash you vacuum, what type of wood you use , what type of fireplace you have etc.
When you begin to use your vacuum
cleaner you will soon discover how
often is preferable.
Your retailer can supply you with filter
cartridges (a) and filter bags (b),
available separately (See reference numbers on the next page).

Once the fireplace is clean, tap the container once on the floor to settle the fine layer of ash covering the filter (b).
As a safety precaution, wait 24 hours before transferring the ash into another container (bin bag, dustbin, etc.) The ash, rich in potassium and phosphorus, can also be used as fertiliser in your garden.

When you empty the container, clean the non-woven filter bag (b) with a paint brush or a floor brush.
